HPT cone crusher
1. Features of HPT Cone Crusher
High crushing efficiency and large capacity
The combination of increased rotation speed and optimized stroke design significantly boosts the rated power and throughput, resulting in a higher crushing ratio and enhanced overall productivity.
Reduced wear and lower operating costs
With an advanced crushing principle and high-precision technical parameters, the HPT cone crusher ensures stable operation and lower operational expenses. Anti-wear protection on all key components extends spare part life by up to 30%, minimizing maintenance needs. It also overcomes common issues found in impact crushers, such as excessive wear on blow bars, impact plates, and liners, and high energy consumption.
Durable lubrication system
The unique thin oil lubrication system not only enhances the lifespan of the equipment but also ensures stable performance. The non-contact labyrinth seal effectively keeps dust out and prevents oil-water mixing, a common problem in traditional spring cone crushers.
Hydraulic system for protection and cavity cleaning
The hydraulic adjustment system makes it easy to modify the discharge opening and provides overload protection. This significantly improves equipment performance and shortens maintenance downtime. The bidirectional hydraulic release system allows uncrushable material to pass through the chamber without halting the operation, eliminating manual intervention during iron passing or overload situations.
Versatile crushing chamber configurations
By simply replacing the fixed and movable liner plates, the crushing chamber can be adjusted from a standard coarse cavity to a short-head fine cavity, adapting to a variety of production needs.
Ease of maintenance and user-friendly operation
The HPT cone crusher is designed for convenient access to all internal parts from the top or side, including the fixed and movable cones. There’s no need to disassemble the mainframe or remove multiple bolts. A built-in hydraulic motor improves operational precision and maintenance efficiency.
2. Working Principle
Driven by the eccentric sleeve, the movable cone of the HPT hydraulic cone crusher performs both rotational and pendulum motion. This movement causes the material to be compressed and sheared between the mantle and concave liner. Following the laminated crushing principle, materials are crushed and refined along their natural grain structure, producing high-quality, uniform aggregates. Qualified material exits through the discharge gap, while oversized particles remain in the chamber for further reduction until the desired size is reached.
